Can you guess what I’m eating?
If any of you guessed tuna fish, you’re right! What? You mean to tell me tuna wasn’t your first guess? (ha ha) No, seriously though. Kids LOVE it! I can’t tell you how many kids I got to try tuna this way!
I know what you must be thinking. But when you have to spend $6 on a loaf of gluten-free bread, you have a tendency to start thinking of other, more creative ways to serve lunch.
Hand your kids an ice-cream scoop and let them assemble it themselves. And don’t be surprised if your kids ask for seconds…
What you’ll need:
Allergy-friendly ice-cream cones
Tuna fish salad (or chicken salad, egg salad, potato salad, waldorf salad, etc.)
Finely grated carrots
Ice-cream scoop
Directions:
1. Use an ice-cream scoop to fill the cone.
2. Generously pat the carrot sprinkles on.
3. Eat and enjoy!
