  1. Hi Sharon,
I just saw you on the ‘Sunny Side of the Street’ and was inspired. You have some wonderful ideas and I plan to pass them along. I have a gluten intolerance and have a difficult time in social ‘food’ situations. Thank you for making me feel not as isolated. I have always felt that rewards for good behavior, especially in schools, should not use snacks but rather special deeds or acknowledgements. As was pointed out in the segment, with obesity on the rise, children would benefit as would their self esteem with rewards of deeds or extra recess if only school administrators would show initiative to “think out of the box”, as you truly exemplify.
